The Mogao caves were some of the most impressive things I've ever seen. The exterior looks straight out of an Indiana Jones movie, and inside are millenia-old beautiful paintings and statues. If you're ever in the far northwest of China, it's definitely worth a look. Unfortunately, no photos are allowed inside, but the cave photographed here is home to the third largest buddha in the world. Amazing.xo
