One of the things I'm looking forward to doing at home is watching all my favorite Christmas movies. I have a lot of them. A lot of my favorite movies, period, are Christmas movies. Here are my top eleven. (That seems like a lot, but I've really seen a lot of Christmas films in my life. And I even left off a few I really like. Such as Snowden. Great film.)
- It's A Wonderful Life
- White Christmas
- A Christmas Story
- Elf
- Miracle on 34th Street (the Natalie Woods version, though the other one is good too)
- Love, Actually (though I've never seen it at Christmastime)
- A Charlie Brown Christmas
- The Muppet Christmas Carol
- Meet Me In St. Louis (not strictly speaking a Christmas movie, but that one scene is so good and always makes me cry)
- Ruldolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer
- Home Alone (This counts the combined goodness of both Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Macaulay Culkin fighting off robbers is priceless.)
